We did a project with a symphony orchestra, which was released as a DVD+CD+CD titled Mats\/Morgan Live with Norrlandsoperan Symphony Orchestra. We also did some 35th anniversary concert in 2016, some of those was recorded, even video filmed, so these needs to be released sometime! Nobody really gets a invitation to play with Magma, especially not a drummer.<br \/>\nBut I got this invite yes, and it is a big honor off course. I have a lot of respect for Christian and Magma, a very unique band for sure.<br \/>\nI have spent time with Magma when we played the same festivals and such during the past. And in 2015 we opened up for Magma in Sweden and Norway, me and Mats just as a duo. And I got asked to record ZESS because Christian is singing on this piece called ZESS, and they wanted to record this live, all together, thats why I got the request. And in June I will in fact perform ZESS w. Magma live in Paris, in this Pierre Boulez concert hall. And we kept contact after that, did jams in my studio and such. Devin also plays on a track on my solo album Batterie Deluxe. And when it was time for Empath, same thing there, recorded a lot for him in my studio, but I also traveled to Wales outside London to record more tracks there for Empath. And maybe I will end up doing the Empath tour in November\/December 2019, we will see!
