From a marketing standpoint Toxik did ride that thrash wave but from the beginning, we always seemed to generate an extra descriptor &#8230; Technical Thrash, Progressive Thrash,Prog-Tech-Black-Industrial&#8230;lol, no Im kidding, but you get it&#8230; like the labels were all about capitalizing on the Metallica and Slayer wave &#8230;in the states especially. We were early just not early enough but Thrash as a genre???? was perfect for what we were putting out because 75% of what early Toxik was, was blazing fast super syncopated testosterone, the other 25% was melody and dynamics.
