Frankly speaking, what is your impression of Japan?<\/span><\/h5>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333399;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'book antiqua', palatino, serif;\">\u3010CRESCENT LAMENT\u3011: <\/span><\/strong><\/span><em> The answer is positive.<br \/>\nPeople currently living in Taiwan can roughly be divided into two major groups: from a family that already settled in Taiwan before 1945, or from a family that fled to Taiwan in 1948~1949. We belong to the former group. And luckily enough, we can hear our grandparents telling their stories.<br \/>\nThey were born in \u5927\u6b63\u6642\u4ee3, received the Japanese education, and lived in a civilized, well-ordered society in their youth. During the post-WWII era, however, they witnessed the collapse of Taiwan\u2019s society, the massacre following the 228 Incident (1947), and the horrifying purge throughout the White Terror (1949~1992).<br \/>\nTo our grandparents, such a dramatic deterioration in their life certainly reminded them of the good old days in their youth and triggered their good impression toward Japan.<br \/>\nThe positive emotion was passed on to the younger generation, and got enhanced repeatedly during every episodes when Taiwan received enthusiastic help from Japan. The donation of COVID-19 vaccine, the support of Taiwan\u2019s agricultural products, not to mention that every time a major earthquake struck Taiwan, the Japanese rescue team would come to help. We remember them all and would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts.<br \/>\nIn the past few years, the slogan \u201c\u65e5\u53f0\u53cb\u597d\u201d frequently appeared on social media. Besides, the upcoming tour with ILLUSION FORCE and Concerto Moon is already a very exciting event in itself!<br \/>\nIf a wish list must be made, Nightwish will be at the top of it. They are one of the greatest bands in the world that inspire countless musicians and fans. \u548c\u697d\u5668\u30d0\u30f3\u30c9 is another magnificent group that enchants us a lot. Their songs, renowned for beautiful Japanese melodies and fluent, passionate rhythms, are undoubtedly exceptional and mind-blowing. Other artists such as Epica, Evanescence, Leaves&#8217; Eyes, Chthonic and \u690e\u540d\u6797\u6a8e are musicians that we admire and love very much.<br \/>\nThe list is just too long to be completed. To us, listening to a good concept album is just like watching a great movie. We are deeply impressed by the five \u201caudio movies\u201d listed above.<br \/>\nAnd that\u2019s why all three albums of Crescent Lament are concept albums.<br \/>\nIn additional to metal artists, by the way, the legendary Japanese composer \u2015 \u4e45\u77f3\u8b93 \u2015 is also a key person who changed our viewpoint on music composition. He successfully blended the spiritual, sorrowful essence of the eastern instruments with the magnificent power of the western arrangement to create the epic work of \u201c\u3082\u306e\u306e\u3051\u59eb\u201d.
