ジョージアの姉御こと LAURA PLESANTS 率いるストーナーバンド KYLESA が名作 “ULTRAVIOLET” に続く新作を10/1にリリースします。タイトルは “EXHAUSTING FIRE”。現在メタルシーンのトレンドの一つにヴェストメタルというジャンルが存在します。ヴェストとは VEST、即ち洋服のヴェスト。ヴェストを着用し、オカルト/サイケ/ドゥーム/ストーナーメタルをプレイ。女性がフロントを務めることが多いのも特徴です 。ROYAL THUNDER, WINDHAND, GHOST, BLOOD CEREMONY, 以前弊誌でインタビューを行った LUCIFER, そしてこの KYLESA もそういったバンドの1つでしょう。BARONESS, 初期MASTODON のような先進性と本格的なサイケテイストを兼ね備えた要注目なバンドです。トレードマークである3ボーカル＋2ドラムが生み出す音圧と実験性を新作でどのように進化させるのか楽しみですね！！
