Review in Japanese>>>SikThが再結成し来日まで決定する世の中になった。よくDjentに影響を与えたなどと言われるが彼らの雑多でアイデア豊富な部分まで継承しているバンドは決して多くない。この再結成を期にSikThと共にDjentを超えたTech-metal旋風を起こして欲しいバンドの一つがこのTBPだ。Djentを超越とは？このバンド、弦の数も多ければ音数も多いしリフはDjentyなんだけどテクニカルでラウドなパートの後には必ずクリーンでアンビエントなパートを用意していて目まぐるしく交差するそれらが非常に心地良い。SikThが影響を与えたとされるMath-Rockの雑多性やアンビエント感も併せ持っている。そういう意味ではAnimals as Leadersと通じるものがあるような気がする。
Review in English>>>Sikth get back together and will come to Japan. Many Djent bands has been influenced by them. But there is a few band realize SikTh’s diversity and identity. TBP is definitely the one of them. TBP has a lot of strings,and notes. That creates loud and djenty riffs. ATST,they prepaer clean and ambient part after them. That kaleidoscopic chages make me excited. You know, TBP has both aspects of Math/Post rock and Djent. That’s what I meant,TBP may similar to Animals as Leaders.
