Review in Japanese>>> SFをテーマに扱うバンドはSpoken Wordを使用する事が比較的多いように思う。ニューヨーク出身のこのバンドもSpoken Wordを効果的に用いてそのダークな世界観と失われた未来文明を音楽で具現化する事に成功している。RUSSIAN CIRCLESの重のベクトルをシネマティックに向かわせたと言うかDUMBSAINTの陽の部分を削ぎ取ったというか。NINを思わせる瞬間もある。アルバム全体に漂う陰鬱な空気感は聴き手を選ぶだろうが麻薬のようにのめり込む危険性も孕んでいる。
Review in English>>> I think SF based bands tend to use Spoken word. SLEEP MAPS from New York City also uses Spoken word with effect. And they success to express their dark worldview and lost future society. Their music is like “Cinematic RUSSIAN CIRCLES”or”Dark DUMBSAINT”. I remind even NIN once in a while. So dark and so melancholy. Therefore,it may not give all listeners satisfaction. At the sametime,it would be hard drags for someone in his mind.
